A short history Pre-history
The origin of the town of Cambrils dates back to pre-history. However it wasn't until the Roman era that the number of inhabitants began to increase significantly in the place where current-day Cambrils stands. This is shown by the archaeological remains found throughout the region, such as in Llosa, which benefited from its proximity to the capital Tàrraco and the Vía Augusta. Today you can find out about the most ancient history up to the fall of the Roman Empire in the Molí de les Tres Eres Museum, the main venue of the Cambrils Museum of History.
